About Me

Hi! I am currently a Senior Researcher at Fujitsu Research focusing on World Models and Privacy focused (learning) algorithms, along with adaptive optimization.

Before this, I was a Data Scientist in the Microsoft PROSE team, primarily focused on incorporating smart features in the office suite and broader copilot ecosystem. Before Microsoft, I was a Research Scientist at Triomics with focus on ML for healthcare. My work was centered around developing LLMs over both structured and unstructured data. A good fraction of my time also went into deployment of these models along with research oriented tasks.

I obtained my Masters in Computer Science from UCLA (I originally started as a PhD student at UCLA CS, but decided to quit in order to pursue my goals. During my PhD time I worked with Prof Wei Wang). Before that, I worked as a researcher at Google AI in the RAiLS (Robust Algorithms for Learning In Sparse Data Settings) team.

My interests span multiple areas of Machine Learning including - LLMs (empirical and theoretical research), as well as ML applications for Healthcare and Finance.
